BLCU Organized Inthernational Students to Participate in the Talent Fair for the First Time
On the morning of May 30, our school Office of Admissions and Employment organized some of the 2014 international students to participate in the “2014 Zhejiang Province: Beijing High-level Talent Fair” in Beijing Friendship Hotel. This was the first time that our school organized international students to participate in off-campus recruitment activities, which has been welcomed by the students.
Our school students had a in-depth exchange with employers, but due to workplace issues, no agreement of employment had been reached. Everyone thanked the school for providing such opportunities for them, hoping to get more information and guidance from school. Since this semester, in order to learn about the employment policy for international students in China and employment situation, the Office of Admissions and Employment has visited a number of employers, and researched on the employment policy and process for international students. They also designed the questionnaire “employment expectations of international students” to learn about the emploment expectations and tendencies of international students. The school hoped to provide more professional help for international students to find jobs in China or go back their country to find a job.
